Aramark to hold blind taste test

Montague's Deli, the Aramark sandwich station in the Boulevard, began offering a preorder service last Wednesday in an effort to cut down on long lines.Members of the Brandeis community who want to preorder a sandwich for lunch can download a form on the Brandeis Dining Web site and e-mail it to montaguespreorder@aramark.com by 9 a.m.

History dept. gives new test meant as self study

E-mail highlights confusion about keynote speaker

An e-mail from Bryan Snyder '05 complaining to President Jehuda Reinharz about this year's commencement speaker has shed light on confusion about the selection process for honorary degree recipients and commencement speakers.University officials have told the Justice that student representatives are responsible for informing students that they can nominate honorary degree recipients, who can later be chosen to be the keynote speaker at their commencement.


Salaries, stipends set to increase

The University's preliminary fiscal year 2006 budget includes an increase of approximately $400,000 for arts and sciences faculty salaries as well as a boost of about $300,000 for arts and sciences graduate student stipends.Both boosts are intended to bring salaries and stipends in line with the averages listed by the American Association of Universities, Dean of Arts and Sciences Adam Jaffe said.
