Montague's Deli, the Aramark sandwich station in the Boulevard, began offering a preorder service last Wednesday in an effort to cut down on long lines.Members of the Brandeis community who want to preorder a sandwich for lunch can download a form on the Brandeis Dining Web site and e-mail it to montaguespreorder@aramark.com by 9 a.m. Ordered items will be available in a cooler next to Montague's during normal business hours, and each sandwich will be labeled with the name of the ordering party, according to the site.

The downloadable form, available as a Microsoft Word document, allows students to choose the type of bread, meat, cheese, toppings and dressings they wish to have on their sandwiches, with a space for any other special instructions.

Aramark managers said that currently, grilled items will not be available through this service.

Food Service Director Richard Rubini said although the program is having a slow start, Aramark plans to increase "the visibility and marketing of the program starting later this week."
