WSoccer: Proving they've still got it

Assistant Dean of Student Life Alwina Bennett perfectly summed up the women's soccer team's two victories this week following a 4-1 win over Babson College with a declaration that "a win is a win." But had the Judges not been playing average teams, the results may have been different.Babson was the Judges' first victim of the week in Tuesday's home opener.


Track energized at the end

Sometime between preparing for finals and the excitement of graduation, the men and women's track teams had to fit into their schedules two meets that features the best talent in track in the area.


Track teams take seventh at UAA champs

The talent and depth of the league's track and field teams were on display this weekend at the UAA Championships at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where a few solid individual appearances were the high points of the Brandeis teams' overall poor showing.The Judges have been plagued by injuries from the beginning of their season, but were hoping to be at the top of their games for the Championships.


Track faces injuries, readies for UAA Finals

While most students spent Spring Break relaxing before the hectic schedule of finals descended upon them, the outdoor track teams were starting their season, partaking in two meets over break and one this past weekend.Kicking off the season for the teams was the Trinity Bantam Invitational Meet in Hartford, Conn.


Men's rugby club falls 17-0 at home

The men's rugby team dropped a hard-fought match to Rhode Island College at home on Saturday by a final score of 17-0, which in rugby lingo translates to three trys, or scores, and one after-try conversion.


Tron finishes seventh at "Huck" tourney

The men's and women's ultimate frisbee clubs traveled to Maryland last weekend for their first competition of the season at Towson University's"Huck of the Irish Tournament." Tron, the men's team, finished seventh place out of 20, while Banshee, the women's team, finished last out of the 10-team lot.The men began play Saturday morning with a 13-0 rout of University of Maryland-Baltimore County.


Track takes on New England

The Brandeis track teams' performance at this weekend's All New England Track and Field championship in Boston was highlighted by school records and impressive individual feats.
