WSoccer: Judges stopped short in ECAC semis

In took three consecutive elimination games, but the women's soccer team finally ran out of steam in the semifinal match of the ECAC tournament on Saturday, losing 3-2 to Clark University in Worcester.After nearly missing the postseason, the Judges defeated New York University 3-1 last Saturday their third straight berth to the ECACs.

The women's soccer team met hard times on its UAA road trip this weekend, as a 2-0 loss to Carnegie Mellon University on Friday was followed by an overtime battle against Emory University Sunday that ended in a 1-0 heartbreaker when Eagles senior forward Nancy Wilson scored a goal with two minutes left in overtime.


WSoccer: Judges fight to tie Springfield

Spectators standing up to leave the game were pulled back to their seats when Betsey Medow '08 reached out to deflect and cover a penalty kick with 47 seconds left in regulation, paving the way for a 2-2 tie with Springfield College Saturday at home.
