Noam Chomsky, considered to be one of the most prominent public intellectuals in the world, spoke at the University on Thursday in a lecture titled “Activism from Vietnam to Palestine.” Chomsky is a well-known linguist, philosopher, political commentator and political and social justice activist. Lawsuit filed against University

On April 9, an alumnus filed a lawsuit against the University for its founding of “false allegations of sexual misconduct” against him by his ex-boyfriend, another Brandeis student.


Student Union holds discussion on diversity

The Student Union held an event yesterday titled “Analyzing Allyship—A Discussion on Black and Asian Relations at Brandeis and In the World.” The discussion focused on how those minority groups can “discover areas of mutuality and allyship,” according to the Facebook page for the event.


University to launch online graduate certificate program

The University’s Graduate Professional Studies division will launch a Learning Analytics online graduate certificate program next fall semester, according to an April 14 BrandeisNOW article. The certificate program is five courses long and worth 15 credits and is part of Brandeis’ expanding online course offerings.
