By the end of next week, students have the opportunity to respond to the Brandeis Labor Coalition’s “Just Employment Policy” in a referendum vote that decides if the Student Union will support the policy in front of the administration.
Last Wednesday, the Office of the Provost emailed the student body a link to a survey sponsored by the Provost’s office and the senior vice president for students and enrollment, entitled the “Campus Climate Survey on Sexual Violence.” This board endorses this survey as a positive step toward informed and meaningful action to combat sexual violence at Brandeis and urges the entire student body to participate before the survey ends tomorrow.
On April 9, a student identified as “John Doe” opened a lawsuit against the University for allegedly mishandling a case against him in a Special Examiner’s Process last year.
As is standard procedure in higher education, Senior Vice Presient and Chief Operating Officer Bill Schaller announced a 3.7 percent rise in tuition, room and board on Monday for the 2015 to 2016 academic year.
