Lessons of balloon boy

Times like these make me want to build my own hot air balloon, ascend to the ends of the atmosphere and broadcast the following message to the world (or at least to my university):"Everybody, just slow down!"I confess my first reaction to seeing the footage of a weather balloon drifting away into the damning Colorado skies was devastation.
