Group working on review of meal plans

Members of the newly formed Student Union Meal Plan Committee and the University Dining Services Committee are working on revamping the meal plan options that are offered to students, according to Michael Weil, senator for the Class of 2010.


Bold Ideas Group to propose major intiatives

University President Jehuda Reinharz, along with the Board of Trustees, has created the Bold Ideas Group, which will be charged with formulating new initiatives that will increase Brandeis' academic profile and visibility "while simultaneously providing significant new revenue streams," according to the Brandeis University Web site.


Study Abroad updates split-year policy

The Office of Study Abroad has updated its policy on the Study Abroad Web site regarding students who wish to "split" a year abroad, spending one semester in one program and one semester in another, according to an e-mail from Assistant Dean of Academic Services and Director of Study Abroad J.


Summer '10 programs approved by committee

Nine Justice Brandeis Semester programs for the summer of 2010 have been conditionally approved by the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee pending the approval of the curriculum committee in its specific department or program, Dean of Arts and Sciences Adam Jaffe wrote in an e-mail to the Justice.


Grinberg selected for Justice Brandeis Semester manager position

Graduate school admissions rise

The graduate schools at Brandeis have been successful in increasing admissions in an effort to counteract the effects of the current financial crisis and pre-existing budgetary concerns within the graduate schools, according to information presented at a faculty meeting last Thursday.
