Taking responsibility for past actions

It was recently brought to my attention that I took facts without adjusting the language to make it my own or citing them sufficiently in a small number of the articles I have written for the Justice.  I want to express my sincerest apologies for these unintentional mistakes and to assure my readers that in no instance did I take an opinion without proper attribution.  Learning the accepted practices of citation has been an important part of my experience at the Justice, and I look forward to citing sources even more carefully in the future. —Dor Cohen


Questions at Republican debate lack focus on issues

On Oct. 28, CNBC hosted the highly controversial third Republican presidential debate. The moderators were criticized throughout the night by the candidates for their attempts to have the candidates go on the offensive against each other, their attempt to ask questions about debunked scandals meant to make the candidates look bad instead of discussing important issues and the open contempt that the moderators exuded toward the presidential candidates. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) received the biggest applause of the night, and the highest line score that pollster Frank Luntz said he ever recorded, when he called out CNBC’s moderators and the mainstream media, stating that the “questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the media ... Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain?


Criticize harmful media bias in Israel reporting

Over the past two weeks, there has been a colossal wave of terrorist attacks in Israel. In Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and virtually all parts of Israel, there have been over 150 terror attacks, including stabbings, shootings, stones thrown, vehicular rammings and suicide bombings, according to an Oct.


Criticize Obama’s flawed promotion of US-Iran nuclear deal

Action was announced between the P5+1 countries and Iran on July 14, President Barack Obama has faced stiff opposition to the deal that he hopes will constitute his foreign policy legacy. As such, it is understandable that he tries, arms swinging, to reassure the American people and Congress that the deal curbs the Iranian nuclear threat.


Reconsider facts before reinstating Al-Quds relationship

On Nov. 15, 2013, a rally took place at Al-Quds University in East Jerusalem. Demonstrators marched in support of Hamas, the terrorist organization governing the Gaza Strip, wearing dark military gear, holding large, fake weapons and conducting Nazi salutes.
