Student Union holds discussion on diversity

The Student Union held an event yesterday titled “Analyzing Allyship—A Discussion on Black and Asian Relations at Brandeis and In the World.” The discussion focused on how those minority groups can “discover areas of mutuality and allyship,” according to the Facebook page for the event.


University to launch online graduate certificate program

The University’s Graduate Professional Studies division will launch a Learning Analytics online graduate certificate program next fall semester, according to an April 14 BrandeisNOW article. The certificate program is five courses long and worth 15 credits and is part of Brandeis’ expanding online course offerings.

Board of Trustees approves 2016 fiscal year budget

The Board of Trustees has approved the 2016 fiscal year budget, which includes a 3.7 percent increase in tuition charges for students for the upcoming year, according to an email from University President Frederick to the University community on Monday afternoon.


Cornelisse to lead search for Catholic chaplain

Following interim priest Father Dan Moloney’s appointment to a different location, Allison Cornelisse, a member of the Brandeis Catholic community, will be temporarily coordinating the University’s Sunday Mass, according to an email sent to the Catholic Student Organization by Chaplaincy Department Administrator Ellie Afienko on Friday.
