One week after her record-setting performance against the University of Chicago in which she broke the school's career wins and shutout marks, women's soccer goalie Hillary Rosenzweig '10 continued her dominance last Saturday at home against New York University. Rosenzweig earned her 36th career win and 21st career shutout while saving eight shots on goal in the Judges' 1-0 regular-season finale victory over the Violets to propel the team to a No. 1 seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference tournament starting tomorrow.Rosenzweig finished the regular season with an impressive 85 saves for a save percentage of .867. She also allowed only 13 goals all season in 18 games, helping to earn the team eight wins and playing in seven shutouts.

When asked about the season, Rosenzweig said she was very proud that the team won so many games against tough teams.

"I thought we had some huge wins this season," Rosenzweig said. "We beat some teams we haven't beat in years."

With her shutout over NYU, Rosenzweig wrapped up her regular season career as a member of the women's soccer team.

Leaving the team with two significant records to her credit at season's end, Rosenzweig said that future goalkeepers could have just as good of a chance at achieving the same accomplishments she did if put in the right situations.

"Anything is possible," she said. "I had a really good team and really good teammates through these four years. My advice is to play hard and trust your teammates."

Rosenzweig is saddened by the conclusion of her career but knows that the team is in good hands and hopes her teammates continue to improve as a group.

"I wish them the best and [that they] do the school proud," she said.
