After one month together, the unlikely couple of 42-year-old Tom Cruise and 26-year-old Katie Holmes is still together."I love this woman," Cruise says in an interview to air Monday on "Access Hollywood" according to the Associated Press. "She's magnificent."

The pair has enjoyed a whirlwind romance since Cruise flew Holmes out to California to meet. They engaged in passionate lip locks on the red carpet at the David di Donatello Awards, the Italian equivalent of the Oscars, where Cruise was honored with a lifetime achievement award.

Cruise and Holmes both have blockbuster hopefuls opening next month-War of the Worlds and Batman Begins, respectively-prompting many to think their relationship is a publicity stunt. Previously shy about public displays of affection, Cruise divulged to Access Hollywood co-anchor Billy Bush that "I am so happy and I am not going to pretend or hide it or be shy."

He says their common interests, like comedy and scuba diving, have helped their new relationship to thrive.

Cruise has gained notoriety for his memorable performances in Risky Business and Jerry Maguire. Holmes first burst onto the scene playing Joey Potter on the TV show Dawson's Creek. She has starred in Go and First Daughter since the teen soap's end.

It wasn't Natalie Portman's couture that shocked onlookers at the premiere of the new Star Wars movie at the Cannes Film festival, but her shaved head.

"Some people will think I'm a neo-Nazi or that I have cancer or I'm a lesbian," said Portman according to World News Entertainment.

"After all the crazy hairstyles I had to endure for the films, it's quite liberating to have no hair, especially in this heat," she said.

Portman shaved her head for her latest role as Evey Hammond in V for Vendetta, an apocalyptic tale of England's future which also stars The Matrix trilogy's Hugo Weaving.
