Brace yourselves: Britney Spears, 23, is about to become a mother. The pop princess reported on her Web site last Tuesday that she and her husband, Kevin Federline, are expecting their first child together. "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together," Spears wrote. "There are reports that I was in the hospital this weekend, and Kevin and I just want everyone to know that all is well. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers."

Spears' pregnancy came as no surprise though: Onlookers noticed a bulge around the singer's midsection when she and Federline made an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards last December.

The couple was married in September. Federline, 27, has two young children from a previous marriage. Spears and Federline's nuptials took place only eight months after her 55-hour marriage to her childhood friend Jason Alexander.

The pair is also producing a six-episode reality TV series which will air on UPN next month. The show will contain footage from her European tour and never-before-seen home videos.

Only a commercial could cause Johnny Damon to loose his trademark long hair. The Boston Red Sox's center fielder recently acted with the team's general manger, Theo Epstein, in a spot for Dunkin' Donuts' iced latts. The commercial was part of the fast-food chain's summer advertising campaign. The acting job was a first for Epstein, who is better known as youngest general manager in the major leagues.

In the commercial Epstein learns that Damon, in fact, wears a longhaired wig to hide the secret that he is balding. In order to keep his general manager quiet, Damon offers Epstein a Dunkin' Donuts iced latt. The next day Epstein tells Damon, ''I'm still a little thirsty" and blackmails the outfielder into providing him with more beverages.

According to The Boston Globe, Epstein didn't feel anxious while shooting his first commercial. "I act a lot when I talk to the media," he told the Globe.
