Pop Culture: Paris Hilton steals her own sex video
Lots of celebrities caught up in controversy-just another average week for Hollywood. Heiress Paris Hilton, known for her expansive, endless shopping sprees, resorted to theft after finding a copy of her own porn video, One Night in Paris, at a West Hollywood newsstand. The owners intend to file charges against the Simple Life reality star.
Apparently Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher is just as despondent in real life, revealing that she has not been with a man since divorcing her husband four years ago. How has the 40-year-old hottie managed to get through the dry spell? Hatcher admitted to FHM that she was doing fine without a man because she owned some "fabulous electronics," many given to her by her Housewives co-star Eva Longoria. In Self magazine, Longaria revealed she always buys her girlfriends "toys" after purchasing her first gadget three years ago.
Bill Cosby became the latest celebrity to fall victim to a sex scandal after a close acquaintance recently accused the beloved comedian of inappropriate behavior during a meeting about a year ago. Although no official charges have been filed, Cosby's attorney Walter Phillips would not reveal the specifics of the allegation, which he stated were "utterly preposterous." He did say that, at most, they involve "inappropriate touching.'' Cosby denies any misconduct, but he has canceled many upcoming meetings and performances.
"Is she or isn't she?" is the buzz surrounding Britney Spears after the pop princess went on a shopping splurge at the Babystyle boutique in Santa Monica, Calif. with husband Kevin Federline. Wearing a tight, pink top with no bra, Spears giddily told staff that she was nine weeks pregnant. Although no official statement has been made, Spears revealed in a letter on her official website in November that, "The only thing I haven't done so far is experience the closest thing to God and that's have a baby. I can't wait!" Further evidence that Brit may have a bun in oven: she has reportedly given up smoking, one of her longtime favorite habits.
