The Judges cruised to a 4-2 record on Saturday with a 73-57 win over Suffolk University. The rookie stars continued to sparkle at home, led by the offensive outburst of guard Florian Rexhepi '08. Rexhepi led the team with 19 points, shooting seven of nine overall and sinking five of seven from three-point range. Kwame Graves-Fulgham '08 helped out with eight points and eight assists and captain Bryan Lambert '05 scored 18 points. Steve DeLuca '08 was a force inside, pulling down 12 rebounds and scoring eight points.

The Judges shot 48.3 percent for the game while forcing Suffolk into 37.9 percent shooting and 15 turnovers.

"We're continuing to get better," Coach Brian Meehan said. "The [man-to-man defense] we really have got to work on. At times we still have break-downs. We do a really good job of coverage and helping out of the one-three-one [zone defense], but its tough to rebound out of there."

Lambert has proved to be critical to the defense, contesting shots with his long reach and leading his teammates vocally. He ran the zone defense with authority, and held Suffolk junior center Josh Morelock to just two points. Lambert, Omri Ayalon '05, Scott Green '05 and Yogev Berdugo '04 make up the senior class that is entrusted with the job of developing Meehan's first recruiting class.

"We need [Lambert] and [Ayalon] to help these guys along," Meehan said. "That's their job. "

This was the third win in a row for the Judges. In their recent wins, the team has shown its ability to run up high scores. They scored 98 points in the second game of the season, a tournament consolation game at home against Mount Ida College, and topped that with 102 against Emerson College last weekend.

"[The first-years] are coming along very well," Ayalon said. "We have guys that we can rely on for different things."

The Judges best game this season came last Tuesday on the road against Babson College. In a back-andforth struggle with a team that the Judges hadn't beaten since 1990, Rexhepi and Deluca took command and combined for 39 points.

It was an offensive onslaught in the Judges first game after Thanksgiving, as the team cruised to a 102-68 victory over Emerson last Saturday. DeLuca led six Judges in double figures with 16 points.

The Judges play three games before the winter vacation. The team hosts Clark University tonight at 8 p.m. before hosting UMass-Dartmouth Thursday at 7 p.m. The team closes out the semester by visiting Davidson College on Saturday at 7 p.m.
