Anonymity in danger with pass-fail revision

The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UCC), in a closed meeting last Thursday, voted to send a proposal to the faculty that would alter the current pass/fail system at Brandeis, eliminating students' ability to take a class pass/fail without the professor's knowledge.Union President Josh Brandfon '05 said that until mid-February the Union was under the impression that all talks of altering pass/fail were a product of technological barriers.


Brandeis secures $25M bond

Brandeis has secured a $25 million tax-exempt bond from MassDevelopment, a state-regulated organization designed to help provide low-interest financing for projects around Massachusetts.

The Brandeis Computer Operators Group (COG), in conjunction with the Student Information Technology Advisory Committee (SITAC), is working in the coming weeks to perfect a campus-wide wake-up call system already available to students.Currently in a testing phase, the wake-up call system allows students to log on to a Web site and set it to call their room extension at a certain time and date.
