Over 350 sign Iraq walkout petition

Students and faculty gathered in upstairs Usdan Thursday night for the Walkout on War meeting. The speakers, Professors Andreas Teuber (PHIL), Gordon Fellman (SOC) and David Cunningham (SOC), each addressed the audience and then answered questions.


SOAR conference fights racism

Race relations at Brandeis have been heightened during the past year, contributing to Brandeis hosting the annual Society Organized Against Racism (SOAR) conference this past Friday and Saturday.


Fake IDs draw strict penalties

Just by opening up their wallets, many otherwise law-abiding college students can incriminate themselves, commiting a serious felony, if their identification, whether it be a driver's license or state ID, is counterfeit.According to Massachusetts law, using a fake ID to purchase alcohol is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine or up to three months imprisonment.


Anonymous HIV Testing not offered

Students seeking anonymous HIV testing will not find it available on campus. A Student Union Government poll was carried out in November to assess student interest in anonymous HIV testing.


Bonds formed with elderly

Phyllis Zukatynski is from an Irish Catholic family and has lived in Waltham for over 30 years. Aarti Daswani '04 is a native to India but was raised in Thailand, and is majoring in Psychology.
