The women’s basketball team ended their season on Saturday losing to New York University 70-56 at home, after losing to the University of Chicago 63-50 last Sunday. With the loss on Saturday, the Judges finish the season with a 12-13 record overall and 5-9 record in University Athletic Association play.

The men and women’s track and field teams made the trip to Tufts University for the second straight weekend to compete in the 2016 Cupid Challenge. Both squads had strong showings on Saturday, with many Judges placing in the top half of a variety of different events.
The women’s basketball team completed its weekend with two road University Athletic Association conference victories. The squad defeated Carnegie Mellon University on Sunday afternoon after a victory against Case Western Reserve University on Friday evening.
The men’s basketball team hit the court Sunday against Carnegie Mellon University and Friday against Case Western Reserve University, splitting its contests with the two conference foes. The Judges claimed an easy victory Sunday, thanks mostly to a stellar second half effort. On Friday, however, the Judges fell to Case in a close battle that saw five Judges score in double figures. The squad has had a difficult time stringing together consecutive victories to this point in the season, and this past week’s results only exacerbate concerns over the team’s ability to deliver on a night-to-night basis.

The men took a 160-132 victory while the women fell by a 147-144 defeat at the Senior Day meet. Fallon Bushee ’16 took home a pair of individual wins for the women in the 100-and 200-yard breaststroke while the men took 10 of the 16 events to claim their second-straight victory.

The teams took the meet by storm, combining to win 21 of the 24 events held throughout the day. The men won their meet 130-82, while the women were victorious 159-52.
