The artists’ community at Brandeis has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the art studios adapting their practices according to the required safety measures, the fall 2020 semester has proven to be a challenge for the arts community on campus. 

In his latest photojournalism project, “A Bit of Color,” Vicente Cayuela ’22 documented the changes that the arts community at Brandeis has been going through in the past few months. In his footage, students and faculty in the Fine Arts department rediscovered nature as one of the main sources of inspiration for their creative practices.
