The Sunday morning talk with ex-child star Mickey Kuhn (Gone with the Wind's Beau Wilkes) was sparsely attended, but the Shapiro Art Gallery practically buzzed with his energy.Kuhn spent the event sharing tales about his brief film career. To make him cry over the death of his mother Melanie in Gone with the Wind, director Victor Fleming "took me from my [real] mother's arms and said to me 'how would you feel if your mother died?' Kuhn said. "After a few minutes I was crying, and we could shoot the scene."

Because he was such a young actor, with minor roles, Kuhn said his claim to fame is defined by the actors with whom he worked throughout his 30 roles, not his personal successes as an actor.
