The article by Jennifer Faber, "Triskelion To Propose Gender-Neutral Bathrooms," raised mixed feelings in me. At first, I became peeved, because such an arrangement seems so much in conflict with the rest of U.S. society that it would represent unrealistic training for Brandeis community members. However, I must accept that the university experience has always included such consciousness-raising. The campus populace should do what it will, but it ought to take heed that gender-free privies may not become commonplace off-campus until about 2100. Paul Trusten, R.Ph. '73
