Medical EmergencyApr. 13 - A female in Bernstein-Marcus fainted. An ambulance was requested and transported her to Mt. Auburn Hospital.
Apr. 16 - A female was transported from Golding Health Center to a hospital for further evaluation.
Apr. 17 - An elderly female collapsed outside of Sachar. Waltham Police Department sent fire engine and paramedics. Ambulance was called directly by passerby.
Apr. 17 - A female in Usdan had a possible food allergy. BEMCo responded and requested an ambulance.
Apr. 18 - BEMCo responded to a female in Massel Quad who was intoxicated and semi conscious.
Vandalism
Apr. 16 - Vending machines have been reported as vandalized in several campus buildings, particularly in the Charles River Apartments. This is reported to be a protest against Coca-Cola company policies. Police reports will be filed.
Theft
Apr. 13 - A resident in Ziv Quad reported a stolen DVD player and electronic game.
Apr. 17 - There was a report in Chapel's Field of a stolen watch and keys.
Traffic
Apr. 16 - A custodian in E-Lot hit a parking post with a truck. No injuries were reported.
Burglary
Apr. 14 - There was a report of a Playstation 2 that was stolen from Ziv Quad. University Police will compile a report.
Disturbance
Apr. 14 - There was a call about a car alarm going off in D-Lot. The owner of the vehicle was notified.
Apr. 15 - A resident of Charles River Apartments reported loud noise and the possible breakout of a fight. The police reported there was a poker game with a rowdy bunch, which was asked to quiet down.
Apr. 16 - A resident of North Quad reported loud music in a nearby room. Upon arrival of University Police, seven people inside claimed they do not live there and left. Music was shut off and University Police confiscated alcohol.
Apr. 16 - There was a report of loud music in Ziv Quad. Person asked occupants to turn music down and they complied.
Apr. 16 - A caller in Charles River Apartments reported loud noise. Loud music was turned off upon request.
Apr. 17 - A caller reported a group of people congregated in Foster Mods.
Apr. 17 - There was a report of people yelling and screaming in East Quad. Upon arrival of officers, CA was dispersing the crowd.
Apr. 17 - There was a report of people in Foster Mods being loud. An officer dispersed the gathering.
Apr. 18 - Police responded to a crowd of 75-100 gathered in the Foster Mods. The crowd left without incident.
Apr. 18 - Six to 12 individuals caused a disturbance by playing Frisbee. University Police were unable to locate the people.
Miscellaneous
Apr. 16 - ITS reported a stolen computer from the Village Quad. The Quad Director and the police were contacted to respond.
Apr. 17 - There was a report of a Volvo with an unknown plate or color entering the campus at the front gate at a high speed. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Apr. 18 - An intoxicated male in Foster Mods caused a disturbance by attempting to fight with University Police. University Police handcuffed the student and placed him in protective custody in the Waltham Police Station. University Police will file University judicial charges.
