Medical Emergency Feb. 1 - There was a report of a student passing out and falling down the stairs at Usdan Caf. BEMCo responded, the patient was alert and conscious. Police on scene later reported party did not fall down the stairs but slipped from a chair.

Feb. 4 - University Police received several calls reporting a naked man covered with blood running around the Charles River Apartments yelling, screaming and acting violently. Police responded with BEMCo, party was located and placed into protective custody and transported via ambulance to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for psychological examination.

Feb. 4 - It was reported that a female party fell down a flight of stairs in East Quad. Party was conscious and alert and complained of neck pain. AMR was notified and patient was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Feb. 6 - Caller reported a female party slid down a hill and hit her head near the Goldfarb Library. BEMCo responded and the patient was transported via ambulance to St. Elizabeth's Hospital.

Feb. 6 - There was a report of an unconscious person in a stairwell in North Quad. University Police and BEMCo responded, patient was possibly intoxicated and refused treatment.

Feb. 7 - A party in Massell Quad reported her roommate was experiencing a burning sensation from her neck to her arm. BEMCo requested ALS ambulance. Patient was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Harasment

Feb 2. - A caller in Ridgewood Quad reported harassing e-mails. University Police will investigate and compile a report.

Feb. 4 - A parent reported her daughter received two harassing phone calls and requested to talk with the Chief of Police.

Feb 6. - A resident of Ridgewood Quad reported an anti-Semitic message on his computer. Caller reported this is not the first instance and was advised to contact University Police should this type of incident happen again.



Drugs

Feb 2. - There was a strong smell of marijuana in North Quad. University Police and the quad director checked the area but found nothing.

Feb. 5 - It was reported that there was a smell of marijuana coming from a room in a Charles River Apartment.

Feb. 7 - University Police and quad director responded to a class D odor in Castle Quad. The report of a marijuana odor was unfounded, but residents will be charged with unauthorized candle use.



Miscellaneous

Feb. 2 - A faculty member in Rabb Quad reported a possibly suspicious package arrived from overseas. University Police investigated and found the package was legitimate.
