A Ziv resident received an anonymous death threat on his answering machine. The Department of Public Safety has now placed a trace on the victim's phone and will be able to trace any subsequent call made there. Public Safety was able to determine that the threat was not made from a campus phone. Callahan reports the person is currently considering whether or not to relocate."Once in a while you see these type of phone calls, sometimes people are under the influence of alcohol or calling another person," Callahan said. "No names were given so it was a non-descript telephone message. It was a sequence of disturbing things on the phone."

The Justice was unable to learn the name of the individual who received the threats or the one who made them.
