Union lobbies for Green Line shuttle

The Student Union is spearheading efforts to start a weekend shuttle service to a green line stop or Brookline, Senator for the Class of 2008 Michael Goldman said. The effort comes after a Union-sponsored online survey showed significant support for a shuttle. While discussions are still ongoing between the Union and the Department of Public Safety, Goldman said the shuttle could serve either the Brookline T-Stop or the closer Riverside T-Stop, both on the Green Line.

Prez late on project reports

A day after being asked why she hadn't filed project reports yet this fall, Student Union President Alison Schwartzbaum '08 Thursday submitted her first project reports since May.Schwartzbaum's late posting was in violation of Article II, Section 2 of the Union's bylaws, which requires executive officers and senators to post their activities online before each senate meeting. When asked Wednesday why she hadn't submitted the project reports, she pointed to her regular reports at Senate meetings.Schwartzbaum said Sunday that her project reports-which detailed all of her activities during the summer and the first four weeks of this academic year-were not posted because of the inquiry made by the Justice.Several Union officials declined to comment.
