Volleyball spikes two Mass foes

This week, Goliath, in the form of the Brandeis women's volleyball team, slew not one, but two David's, toppling both Endicott College and Clark University Saturday at Gosman.


Volleyball ready for prime time

Last season was a time to endure growing pains for the Brandeis University volleyball team, and the rebuilding project was so successful that team members now view themselves as a dynasty in the making.While the young squad had its run of three consecutive ECAC Division III North playoff appearances snapped (the Judges struggled through a difficult University Athletic Association schedule, going 4-8 in league play and 16-20 overall), Brandeis held its own against the nation's best.


Baseball looks to postseason

The Brandeis University baseball team (18-11-1) is making its run towards a repeat berth in the Division III College World Series, winning four out of five games last week as they head down the final stretch of the season.On Friday against Bentley College (6-15), the Judges made the most of their opportunities by scoring seven unearned runs on four errors in a 10-7 victory.Bentley took an early lead when freshman rightfielder Gabriel Vicente led off the game by clubbing his second home run of the season off Brandeis pitcher Paul Ramsdell '04.
