The most entertaining thing about Some Truth & A Little Money, the debut album from The Bloody Lovelies, was disappointingly not found on the album, but rather on the press release which came with the CD.
The idea of Ashton Kutcher, star of the quality film Dude, Where's My Car?, taking on a non-comedic role must appear to many as rather absurd.
On Wednesday night, Jacques Rouffio's "La Passante du Sans-Souci" ("The Passerby"), was screened at the Wasserman Cinematheque, courtesy of the National Center for Jewish Film (NCJF). "Kill Bill: Volume I," the proudly proclaimed "Fourth Film By Quentin Tarantino" (following "Reservoir Dogs," "Pulp Fiction," and "Jackie Brown"), is a deliciously over-the-top picture that both celebrates all kinds of B-movie genres and expands upon them.
"Sanitation Engineering" gives off that "bunch-of-guys-get-together-and-make-a-movie" feeling which appears to be a frequent characteristic of student films.
"Matchstick Men" starts off lingering on shots of a beautiful Californian house with a jazzy rendition of "The Good Life" playing in the background.
