Women claim first ECAC title since 2005

The women’s basketball team saw four players named to the All-University Athletic Association teams last week while the men’s squad saw its offensive leader named co-UAA Rookie of the Year.
The women’s softball team defeated Grace College 3-2 in Clermont, Fla., on Saturday, continuing a strong start to the season for the team.

Last week’s action in the Barclays Premier League did not feature a game from the squad currently at the top of the table but still provided entertainment for soccer fans. Swansea, Manchester United, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom and Crystal Palace were weekend winners, with West Brom in particular pulling off an impressive victory against the surprising Southampton squad.
Kristi Pisarik ’15 won the one-mile run in a time of 5:19.79.
The United States Men’s National Soccer Team defeated Panama 2-0 Sunday afternoon to stop a five-game skid.
Foilists Annie Kim ’16 went 2-1 to earn the victory.
The No. 25 women’s tennis team started its spring season on Saturday afternoon, falling to Bryant University by a score of 6-1.
■ Center Olivia Shaw ’18 had 16 points and seven rebounds in the squad’s victory over the University of Rochester.
■ Guard Robinson Vilmont ’17 had 23 points in the Judges’ overtime loss at the University of Rochester.
■ Tim Reale ’17 had nine points to lead the Judges in their loss against the University of Rochester.

■ Saberist Nina Sayles ’17 had an 18-3 record for the weekends competitions.
■ Edan Zitelny ’17 paced the men’s team, winning both the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke.
■ Adam Berger ’15 placed 26th for the Judges in the triple jump with a distance of 12.71 meters.
