Medical Emergency March 24-A student in East Quad was having problems breathing. BEMCo transported the student to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
March 25-A student in Fellows Garden fell off his skateboard with a possible head or shoulder injury. BEMCo transported him to health services for further treatment.
March 27-A female student complained of a fever. BEMCo treated her on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
March 29-A student in Massell Quad was having difficulty breathing. BEMCo treated her and transported her to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
March 29-A caller from a party in Massell Quad reported a student with a back injury. The student was transported by ambulance to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
March 30-University Police and BEMCo responded to an 18-year-old male with a head laceration in North Quad. The student was treated on-scene and transported by ambulance to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Disturbance
March 28-An individual in Massell Quad reported that a group of males was causing a disturbance. University Police checked the surrounding area but were unable to locate anyone.
March 29-University Police received complaints of loud parties in Ziv Quad. University Police shut down two parties for disturbing the peace.
March 30-A student on Charles River Road reported a possible domestic disturbance. University Police reported that it was a verbal argument and that no further action was necessary.
Vandalism
March 25-A student in Kutz Lot reported that her motor vehicle was damaged. University Police compiled a report.
Harassment
March 26-A student reported a scam via e-mail in regard to selling his textbooks online. He listed the books for $65 on Facebook and received an offer for $3900. The student received a check via UPS for that amount. No crime was committed, and no personal information was exchanged by the reporting party. University Police investigated the probable scam and passed it on to the Citibank fraud department.
March 30-A student filed a complaint that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her by text message and threatening to drive here from New York. University Police compiled a report.
Assault
March 30-University Police received a report of a fight in the Foster Mods. The caller reported that there might be a knife or gun involved. The Waltham Police were notified to assist. The report said that there were 15 individuals running up behind the Mods to South Street. Upon arrival, University Police reported that the fight was over. Witnesses said there were no weapons shown at any time. University Police arrested the student, who was charged with disorderly conduct and was transported to the Waltham Police station.
