Medical EmergencyApr. 14-A student near the Rabb steps fell off a shuttle bus and struck his head. BEMCo responded along with University Police. The student was treated on-scene with a signed refusal for further care.
Apr. 15-A student at the Athletic Fields injured his knee and called BEMCo. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Apr. 18-A student in Ziv Quad had an allergic reaction. BEMCo and University Police responded. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Apr. 26-A student in Rosenthal Quad reported that her friend was intoxicated. University Police responded; BEMCo was out of service. The student was transported to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Larceny
Apr. 15-A student in North Quad reported that her room keys were stolen. The student declined an offer to switch rooms or have her locks changed. University Police allowed her access into her room. A report was compiled.
Apr. 17-A student in North Quad reported that her $2,000 laptop was stolen some time on April 9. University Police compiled a report.
Apr. 17-A Library and Technology Services staff member reported that a computer and an LCD monitor were stolen from Golding. University Police reported to investigate and gather more information from the reporting party. A report was compiled. University Police will review tapes from the cameras in the area.
Burglary
Apr. 21-A party reported that the shed door by the tennis courts was off the hinge. It was not determined if anything was missing. The door was resecured. University Police compiled a report.
Apr. 24-A student in Rosenthal Quad reported that a television was stolen from a common area within the Rosenthal North apartment. University Police compiled a report.
Disturbance
Apr. 19-A party on Angleside Road complained of loud music. University Police spoke to the residents and had the music turned down.
Vandalism
Apr. 24-The rear window of a car parked in Spingold Lot was broken. University Police compiled a report.
Apr. 24-University Police discovered that the card reader striker plate at Deroy Hall in Massell Quad had been vandalized. A police unit was dispatched and remained until the card recorder was repaired.
Miscellaneous
Apr. 15-A suspicious e-mail was sent to a party in Kutz Hall for unknown reasons. University Police compiled a report.
Apr. 25-University Police assisted the Waltham Fire Department in putting out a brushfire on Charles River Road near the water line behind the
Charles River Apartments.
Apr. 21-A car parked in Spingold Lot was damaged. University Police compiled a report.
