Medical EmergencyMarch 20-A caller in Gosman reported that an ambulance was on the way to the Sports Complex for an individual who injured his wrist playing basketball. The individual was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for further care.
March 21-A caller reported that there was an individual in Gosman who had possibly broken an ankle. University Police and BEMCo responded. The individual was treated on scene and signed a refusal for further care.
March 22-A caller in North Quad reported that an individual had a laceration on his hand. University Police and BEMCo responded. The individual was treated on scene by BEMCo.
March 24-University Police in Usdan reported that an individual was semi-conscious due to alcohol intoxication. The individual was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for further care.
Disturbance
March 22-A caller in Rosenthal Quad reported that individuals were being very loud while playing basketball in the quad. University Police checked the area, but did not find anything.
March 26-A caller in Rosenthal Quad reported that there was a group outside keeping him awake. The group was asked to disperse and complied.
March 26-A caller in Rosenthal Quad complained that loud music was being played. The music was turned off upon request.
March 27-A caller in Ziv Quad reported that there was a loud party going on in the quad. The party was dispersed without incident.
March 27-A caller in North Quad said there were students playing guitar and talking too loudly.
Traffic
March 22-An individual in G-Lot reported that ice fell off of the roof of Gosman and damaged the hood of the individual's car.
Fire
March 21-A small fire was reported in a trash can in the Castle. The fire was extinguished prior to the arrival of University Police.
Drug
March 21-A caller reported the smell of marijuana in Massell Quad. University Police and Residence Life responded. The area was checked, but no smell was found.
Vandalism
March 25-A caller in East Quad reported that there was a broken window in a common room in the quad.
Miscellaneous
March 21-A caller reported that there was a man harassing people in the Shapiro Campus Center. University Police escorted the individual off campus with a trespass warning.
March 24-A caller in E-Lot reported that a group of students were on Water Tower Hill throwing rocks at his property. University Police responded and identified the two Brandeis students as suspects. The issue was referred to the Brandeis Administration.
