University eliminates sophomore parking

Sophomore resident students will no longer be able to obtain parking permits from the Department of Public Safety to park on campus starting fall 2011, according to an April 29 campuswide e-mail from Director of Public Safety Ed Callahan.


Burden of proof for sexual assaults to change

The University will lower its standard of proof for internal proceedings on sexual assault from a "clear and convincing standard" to a "preponderance of evidence standard," Senior Vice President for Communications and External Affairs Andrew Gully said in an interview with the Justice.

There are no immediate plans to expand housing options at the University because the University would need a new parking structure in order to construct a new building, reported Senior Representative to the Board of Trustees Heddy Ben-Atar '11 and Junior Representative to the Board of Trustees Adam Hughes '12.

The Board of Trustees approved a new dual degree program on Thursday, according to Prof. Jon Chilingerian (Heller), the director of the new program, in an interview with the Justice.


Linsey Pool to reopen by spring 2012

The Board of Trustees unanimously approved a plan to renovate the Linsey Pool for $3 million on Thursday, said Senior Vice President for Administration Mark Collins in an April 1 interview with the Justice.
