Prof lectures on Roman women’s health

Who knew that gynecologist appointments in ancient Rome resembled much of what they do today? Doctors used specula to examine the cervix, prescribed cures for ailments such as breast cancer and menstrual cramps and advised women about sexual health and abstinence.
