In my email to THE JUSTICE I also stated: "As a member of the theater faculty, I am naturally very concerned about the proposed cuts to the MFA design program and Brandeis Theater Company production budgets. The MFA design students are incredibly talented, and many of my professional colleagues teach there and are graduates of that program. Anyone who has attended a BTC production knows the high quality of artistic work they do...There are 18 proposals in the committee?s report and two of them focus on the arts, so I can't say that the School of Creative Arts was especially targeted. [But] I would like to know more about what 'significantly reduced' theater budgets actually entails. "
