Medical Emergency

Feb. 17—University Police received a call from the Mailman House, requesting transport of a party to the hospital for a voluntary psych evaluation. Police assisted the ambulance crew with the transport without incident.

Feb. 24—University Police received a call from a party in the Charles River Residence that they were experiencing abdominal pains, vomiting and a sore throat. Police transported the party to Newton Wellesley Hospital with a BEMCo member on board.

Feb. 24—University Police received a report of a party in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center suffering from an allergic reaction. BEMCo and University Police responded and treated the party on scene with a signed refusal for further care.

Feb. 24—University Police received a report of a party who may have fractured their wrist playing basketball in the Gosman Sports and Convocation Center. The party was treated by BEMCo on the scene and transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital for further care by University Police.

Feb. 26—University Police received a report of a party in the Intercultural Center with a staple in their finger. The party was treated on site by BEMCo with a signed refusal for further care.

Feb. 28—University Police received a call from a party who reported they picked up an intoxicated party on the side of the road and brought them to Gosman. BEMCo treated the intoxicated party on site and Cataldo ambulance transported them to Newton Wellesley Hospital.

Mar. 1—University Police received a call of an unconscious party in North Quad. University police and BEMCo responded and the party was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital by Cataldo ambulance.

Drugs

Feb. 24—University Police were requested to investigate a call of marijuana in Ziv Quad and found nothing in the apartment. University Police cleared the area while the Community Development Coordinator spoke with the resident and took no further actions.

Disturbance

Feb. 17—University Police received a call from the Foster Mods of a possible altercation in progress.

Police arrived on scene to find parties verbally arguing, and finding no physical fighting, took no further action.

Mar. 1—University Police received a call requesting the removal of disturbing patrons from the Stein. Police spoke with the patrons, who departed without incident.

Larceny

Feb. 20—University Police received a report of a banner taken from Levin Ballroom and compiled a report on the incident.

Feb. 26—A party in Goldfarb Library reported a credit card and iPad stolen. University Police complied a report on the incident.

Other

Feb. 18—University Police received a call from a party in Shapiro quad that another person was banging on their door and trying to enter the room. University Police checked the building and found it clear of pedestrians. The reporting party was satisfied after speaking with University Police.

Feb. 24—University Police received a report of a suspicious letter in the Rabb Graduate School and complied a report on the incident.

Feb. 27—University Police received a report of a party who received a strange package from a party known to them. Police compiled a report on the incident.

Feb. 28—University Police were notified of a suspicious party in the bathroom outside The Stein. Police found the party using the restrooms and took no further actions.
