As of this week, the updated edition of the Rights and Responsibilities handbook for the 2014 to 2015 academic year has been released to the Brandeis community.

In an Oct. 16 email to the Justice, Dean of Students Jamele Adams wrote that the Rights and Responsibilities handbook, which was released as a draft on Sept. 19, has been finalized.

Adams added that “there [were] no further updates” made to the handbook since the release of the draft.

The release of the handbook was delayed this year, pending changes to sexual misconduct policies and definitions, the Special Examiner’s Process and academic integrity guidelines, among other sections.

The original timeline provided in a Sept. 19 email to the Brandeis community from Senior Vice President for Students and Enrollment Andrew Flagel indicated that the handbook would be finalized and published within seven to 10 days of the draft’s release.

A formal notice regarding the handbook’s adoption has yet to be annouced to the Brandeis community as of press time.
